Nick van Cuylenburg
Sound Designer
Nick van Cuylenburg is a composer/sound designer who writes music for theatre, dance, film and television. Specialising in both electronic and acoustic styles of composition, Nick undertakes a wide variety of work, from instrumental and orchestral scoring to ambient / electro-acoustic surround sound installations. He also spends a lot of time writing and performing music around the country with nationally renowned bands The Red Tree, Subaudible Hum and The Queen’s Head. Nick has also won several music and audio awards, including a Green Room Award for Best Independent Theatre Composition in 2009 for a live multichannel soundscape he composed for Daniel Schlusser’s Poet #7.
