Lyn Wilson

Costume Designer

Lyn Wilson is a designer, artist, landscape architect and design educator who has worked extensively in both theatre and film on costumes and sets, as designer and maker. She moved to Melbourne from New Zealand and has previously lived in London and Paris working in theatre and on music videos, advertisements, short films and stop motion animation for many projects including The Sparks, Bjork, The Rolling Stones, Black Crowes, Sinead O’Connor, Renault, MTV Europe Music Awards Paris 1995 and l’oiel du cyclone for Canal +, learning from directors such as Michel Gondry, Eric Coignoux and Kunzel + Degas. Theatre credits include Streetcar Named Desire, Cabaret, Female Transport, Medea, Angel City and Slice of Saturday Night. She has currently been shortlisted for the Alice Prize 2012 and has been teaching at the Architecture and Design School, Melbourne University.
