GREG CARROLL has most recently designed Verdi’s MACBETH at Her Majesty’s Theatre directed by Bruce Beresford. He also designed Rossini’s OTELLO for Bruce at The Athenaeum Theatre.


Greg designed Louis Dickins CHEER UP CARL at the Carlton Courthouse

and has worked on theatrical productions for the APG, (The Pram Factory), La Mama, Playbox, Melbourne Theatre Company,  Sydney Theatre Company, Theatre Works, Gilgul Autoworks, Melbourne Writer’s Theatre, Polyglot, Melbourne Opera Company, Gertrude Opera, The  Australian Shakespeare Company and Red Stitch, as well as many commercial productions.


Greg directed and designed the monodrama Swansong in Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles and New York where Andre Devanny won best actor in the New York Solo festival. He also directed Andre in Glory Dazed at Red Stitch for which Andre won the Green Room Award for Best Actor. 


Greg has worked extensively in set design for over 47 years. As far ranging as creating the magic illusions for Doug Tremlett to special effects and major set pieces for film and television.
