Cristina Wells

CRISTINA WELLS has written and performed extensively in the Melbourne theatre scene. Her farce Death at a Birthday was longlisted for the Noosa One Act Play Competition in 2016. She has since produced and performed her own work in the Melbourne Fringe and independent theatre. Her award-winning feminist comedy Out of Character debuted at the Butterfly Club in 2018. Most recently her Shakespearean black comedy The Witches of Macbeth featured in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. For the last two years she has appeared as the violin-playing Mole in the Australian Shakespeare Company’s The Wind in the Willows, and Mr Toad’s Birthday Party. This year she will be making her debut in stand-up comedy in the 2023 Melbourne Comedy Festival.
