Claire Nicholls

CLAIRE NICHOLLS graduated from the Ballarat Arts Academy in 2005. Between 2006 and 2011 she worked with Liminal Theatre and Performance, performing locally and internationally, most notably in their Green Room Award winning work Oedipus- A Poetic Requiem. In 2010 Claire travelled to Hong Kong and Shanghai to work with Theater Du Pif on their touring verbatim piece The Will to Build. Claire has performed with the Australian Shakespeare Company over the past decade, appearing in productions of Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Henry IV Part 1, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like it, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing and Alice in Wonderland. In 2019 and 2022, Claire Assistant Directed King Lear for Prague Shakespeare Company. Most recently, she appeared in Uninvited Theatre’s productions of Leske’s Method and The Gist and played Goneril in Melbourne Shakespeare Company’s King Lear.
