Abe Pogos

Abe Pogos has mostly worked as a scriptwriter since graduating from the VCA School of Drama in 1984. He has had a number of scripts professionally produced for theatre, film, TV and radio but in recent years has added music theatre writing to his repertoire. He has collaborated with director Catherine Hill many times having previously composed incidental music for her productions of Caryl Churchill’s A Number and Tennessee William’s Two Character Play for Winterfall Theatre, and the stage adaptation of Calendar Girls for Canberra Rep. He is currently working on the film score of Some Happy Day, a feature film written and directed by Catherine.
